Suggestions for salty snacks

I can’t be the only one thinking about the amount of…fiber this would create, can I?

I eat peanut shells too :joy:

I have occasionally though about how …‘scrapey’ they might be leaving the system, but no issues in 40 years so far!

pork scratchings or strips if i’m on keto, I just love them. Or also the fluffier puffy ones. All protein and fats, next to 0 carbs.

Corn nuts - I think they are the must underrated salty snack for cycling.

End of discussion🤘

I think you should consider taking nuts with you, they are small and easy to grab. Also, they are very tasty!

Bunch of almonds, roast in a pan, glaze with soy sauce right in the pan :ok_hand::ok_hand::ok_hand:

Team, you may be right … and nuts might be great as a salty snack.

But I’m issuing a PSA in the hopes I help someone out:

Nuts are high(er) in fiber than many other salty snacks. And on a long ride, this is a detail that matters. It can matter a lot. It can matter explosively. And it can matter at times it may not be geographically convenient, or in areas with a lack of available plumbing and other sanitary considerations. And, yes, I’m talking about poop :poop:

Good luck out there🤘
