I am very happy with my Sigeyi!
Bought it and shipped to sweden at $250 early 2021.
Will update it and put it on my trainerbike tonight and compare it to my new kickr core.

What size/length chainring bolts do I need for a sigeyi spider?
Thought Iād chime in here with some feedback about my recently purchased AXO Shimano 4 bolt power meter.
Installation was very easy on a set of XTR crank arms with a 34 tooth steel chainring (for winter use here in Scotland).
I couple of rides had me thinking it was reading a bit on the low side so I though Iād do a comparison to my Assiomas. The results we excellent - and my legs are obviously still slightly crap after Januaryās Covid!
Hereās a plot of the Assiomas (Blue) against the AXO (red) along with a percentage (100 x (Assioma / AXO)) in black.
As you can see on this section, the plots match almost perfectly with the average readings being less than 1% higher from the Assiomaās.
Hereās a sprint from elsewhere in the ride. The AXO is a little bit high but not far off.
Weāll see how things go in the longer term, but Iād describe myself as very happy with this Ā£329 power meter.

Hi everyone!
I am considering to buy a sigeyi axo for my MTB (Mtb SRAM boost version).
Did anyone get it from sigeyi website? How was the experience with regards to service?
I am in Canada, so no actual distributor here (the Canadian website mentioned on sigeyi doesnāt carry any).
Thanks,
Enrico
I bought the SRAM boost version for my Epic Evo after watching GPLamaās review. He recommended Cycling100 which is where I bought mine, shipping to US since I didnāt see any local distributors. Customer response was excellent and would buy from them again. Product though was coming from China but no issues. So should be ok shipping to Canada.
I ordered one direct from their site, for delivery to USA. Was shipped quick and arrived by UPS from Hong Kong in 3-4 business days. No complaints.
I bought mine from the sigey website. Zero problems.
The only thing I would do different is ask if I can buy an extra charging cord.
Bought direct from the site, Based in South Africa, package received via UPS in a few days over festive period. Took longer to clear customs than to ship it.
Have the sram boost one on my mtb. Been very happy with it. Seems accurate and battery life so far is fantastic. I juiced it up out of the box 5 months ago and still showing like 60% with 2-3 rides a week pre east coast freeze-thaw
Mr @gpl and all my Sigeyi using friends, are any of you on the latest firmware (4.2 I believe) and have an offset applied?
I did a workout yesterday and decided the difference to my trainer Power is, whilst small, consistent enough that it was worth applying a 1.5-2% Offset. However after updating Firmware it says āupdate firmware firstā when I attempt to apply an Offset. Has anyone else faced this?
I was going to try and apply it before tomorrows workout, but I could see if the updated firmware provides a difference first if need be.
ETA: pretty sure I was being dim. Think it works fine but you need the cable connected for updates etc, but disconnected for other stuff. Having never done an Offset or anything Iāve never really connected with the app without the cable connected.
I decided to pull the trigger today on the Sigeyi AXO as itās the most economical option that has any sort of trustworthiness that I found. The GPLama review and this thread helped convince me. Iām glad to see that they seem to have sorted out pretty much all of the issues.
I was using my Assioma DUO with the MTB SPD hack, but after a few bad pedal strikes, I decided to quit using them for MTB. Props to my Assioma for taking that beating in stride.
I considered buying a M8100 Shimano crank for $150 and doing a Stages or 4iiii for ~$325, plus needing a new bottom bracket. That would be more money and hassle just for single sided power.
I also considered Power2Max NG Eco, but at $590 itās really more than I was wanting to spend. So although itās got a really solid reputation, I didnāt feel the extra money was worth it.
I bought a sigeyi power meter for my gravel bike and itās been great. Iāve thrown that bike on my trainer to compare power against my saris H3 and the sigeyi consistently reads 1.5-2% higher which is perfectly fine with me.
Like you, I wanted a cheaper alternative and wanted power on my gravel bike and gave sigeyi a try. I have a power2max on my road bike that reads ~1% higher than my saris H3 so I feel confident that all of my power sources are well within the range of consistency and reading similarly.
I am glad so many people have used the information on this thread to purchase an effective power meter at a great price. I purchased my power in January 2020 and itās still working reliably. I can still count the number of times I have charged it on one hand and I ride 5-7 hours a week. Hopefully, I will be buying another for my hardtail soon.
Just ordered a Sigeyi sram MTB PM yesterday. Iām upgrading cranks on my older Trek procaliber from GXP GX1000 to DUB XX1 at the same time, knocking off 300g. So Iāll be swapping BBs at the same time.
Looking forward to having power outside and spending less time on the trainer.
Guys, can someone help a big dummy please (me)
I have a BB30 SRAM Red 110 BCD 50/34 11 speed crank as pictured
Is it this Sram Red 22 BCD 110 one that i need?
Or this Sram 110 BCD one?
Many thanks,
A big dumbo
Iām not sure, but Iād have said none of the above.
I donāt see where the crank can come apart from the spider on your crankset?
Damn, i think youāre right.
Looks like im limited to pedals or a left sided crank arm.
Whoops
I recommend Assioma pedals. They are super reliable and have great rechargeable battery life. Not to mention you can take them from bike to bike since pedal thread are the standard that hasnāt changed every 5 years. The only reason I bought a Sigeyi is power meter pedals are a bad idea for mountain biking. I have hit too many rocks with the Assiomas and someday that might break them.
See GPLamaās power meter reviews on YouTube for whatever you are thinking of buying
that was my exact responseā¦this thing was cheap, pedals arent, and I beat the hell outa my pedals on the mtb. I have no problem rebuilding my SPDs every year or so. Dont really want to open power pedals.
For the price of the sigeyi, ive been totally impressed. Had it almost a year now and other than the initial charge out of the box, ive only recharged it once. I have it calibrated to my wahoo kickr and it seems reliable on the power numbers
I finally found time to install and test the Sigeyi SRAM MTB AXO vs my Assioma Duos on my mountain bike and take them for a ride.
I tried them on pavement and MTB trails. I calibrated multiple times during my ride in case there was any break-in or settling needed.
The results were quite good. On pavement, pedaling most of the time but varying power a lot, the power meters agreed very close: within 0.3% average power, 1.7% NP but that is mainly due to differences in a few short power spikes.
On the trail, the numbers differ a bit more. However, this was not due to any power offset. Instead this was a short coming of the Assiomas. During my ride I had many short power bursts and short periods (1-3 sec) of not pedaling. Also lots of standing on the pedals and pumping the terrain. Itās the standing and pumping that seems to have thrown off the Assiomas. It shows power when the cadence is zero according to the Sigeyi (which also tracks with what I know I was doing). See pics below.
So, the Sigeyi AXO agrees with the Assioma Duo for steady state power and is more accurate than them for mountain bike use when youāre pumping and standing. Plus itās about half the price and actually meant for mountain biking. Thatās a great product as long as it proves durable.
