No problem.
According to the Trek website, frame + fork is 1.91kg IIRC (disc).
I’d have thought a 1200g alu disc frame wouldn’t have been that hard to find, but then perhaps there isn’t much of a market for that these days?

are you still able to purchase bond bikes? I tried looking for them a couple of months ago and couldn’t find their site.
Weird! @tadaka I ordered mine in '18 and I ended up receiving it in late '19… It looks like their site is gone now!? They are still on insta @bond.bike at least.
Mine (Below post) Is 18.5 lbs with everything. I would consider a pretty “mild” build comparatively. It does have ETAP HRD but Force22 is around the same weight and if you swap a Red Cassette and Crank its lighter. Alu cockpit, ultegra pedals, 50mm tubeless wheels with DT 350 hubs and also now has an older Quarq Elsa. With more weight conscious selections you should be able to save quite a bit of weight.
Your Bond is lovely, though I’m not sure they’re around any more?
I would love a Low, but I discovered this morning there’s a 9 month lead time. That’s a deal breaker for me, unfortunately.
Yeah i’m not sure what happened to them? That lead time is pretty nuts! Mine ended up taking about that much time too and I missed the whole season being able to use it and then this year too lol. I have had 2 rim Allez and was in the market for a sprint disc but decided to try something different. I’ve loved them though. Other frames I considered were the Spooky Mulholland (now MAVRK) and Stomper Darrell.
My 2019 CAAD 13 shown above (silver with red and black dots) came in at 18lbs even. I’m sure I could find a few spots to spend more money and save weight:) but I’ve been happy with it!
That would be my first choice, probably, but those framesets are impossible to get hold of at the moment. No bb issues?
I haven’t had any BB issues, but it is not the stock one. I had to get a new one for the Sram 1x set up to get the spacing right.
I’ve never had an issue with the BB on my CAAD12 after I don’t know how many miles.
Are those your Christmas wheels
This one has been a bit of a project bike trying to get done on the cheap.
Bit of sentimental value with this being my first road bike. Never thought I’d need more than it, but eventually got a more aggressive carbon frame on the cheap and moved my components over. Turned this frame into a singlespeed with flats for a bit. Had some good times with the kids on it.
Shortly before covid struck I decided to turn this bike back into a road bike, and I wanted it to be more of a “dedicated trainer bike” so I tried to order some parts to build it back up.
Then parts were impossible to get as covid struck.
2 months later I realized, Why not buy new parts for my NICE bike, and move the old components back over to this frame rather than getting new parts for the trainer bike!
So I now have an amazing bike as my main steed, but have since been slowly chipping away at this bike, and about 3-4 months ago it became essentially my full time trainer bike plus if the weather is bad I’d take it outside as well.
I realized once I threw some better rubber on it that thing was still pretty darn capable, so I made a few tweaks to this bike as well, including a standard crank with quarq power meter, a brand new cobb v-flow plus test saddle, some better brakes, stem tweak, committed to the slam, and finally found a reasonable priced set of deep wheels with alloy brake track suitable for poor weather conditions.
Even before the wheelset, on some super heavy 32 spoke box rims, I ws holding my own pretty well on the local sunday road ride with a few buddies, and honestly think I could do some damage in some local crits with this thing now.
As my backup/trainer/rain bike, I gotta say, it’s pretty nice!
Posting this in here too just to see if there’s any insight…
Does anyone have any experience of the Standert Kreissage (disc)? Very close to pulling the trigger on one of these.
Also looking at the Bowman Palace 3 and the Condor Italia RC (both in disc). Any comparative insights would be very welcome.
You opened up a thread on your own for this exact question, right? This is a “show me your …” thread, so why not posting a shot of your bike on new bike day?
Please don’t make this the place for your question that you feel was not answered enough yet. Thanks!
Fair enough!

Is that a custom paint job? It looks amazing!
Nah, it was a frame-only color from 2019. Rocket red with blue/ purple chameleon fork and letters. It definately pops in the sunlight!
