Show me your "Aluminati" builds!

Had a blast building this 2019 Caad 12! I found a local painter and had it painted then built it up from there. Dura-Ace mechanical-Sram Force 52 1x-Easton aero bars and stem-Enve seat post-Reynolds tubless wheels-Selle Italia saddle-30mm Goodyears. Been a great crit bike, but I also just love to ride it around unless the hills get too long and steep:)

I have a caadx 105, bought some hunt wheels, Fsa carbon bars, stem and seatpost. Brooks carbon railed saddle. Not the most expensive bike but it’s fun to ride anywhere I want.

Finally resolved a longstanding warranty issue with this thing…Trek Emonda ALR with Campy EPS. Have to rebuild it but here’s some photos from when I first built it up.

Yeah I loved that colorway. Matte Orange with the tan walls came out nice.

Soon good. I love this.

Nooo… now I am leaning toward carbon wheels for my emonda alr. Looks awesome.

I’m still rocking the CAAD10 that got me back into the hobby in 2012. New wheels (alum rim brake, of course) and 11-speed gruppo last year help keep this bike rolling. As a mechanical engineer I am biased toward aluminum over carbon, for no particular reason I can put my finger on. Thinking about titanium for the next bike though…

Special shout out to a 2013 colorway for this frame which was half black / half raw aluminum!

Just finished building her up. Love the feel and the looks!

Great looking bike. I would love to see an updated allez with hidden cables. Gotta happen within the next 2 years I’d guess.

Thank you! I kind of like exposed cables. I was able to clean it up well tho.

Great looking bike. Apologies if I missed it earlier in the thread, but is that a custom paint job?

Not custom, i believe it’s allez sprint VHS color

Agree with “exposed” cables. Using Di2 or eTap/AXS makes the cabling really tidy but admittedly not totally hidden

Thanks! HED Jet RC5 Plus.

Sorry reviving the thread. How did u fit sram red bb30 crank into bb30A? I just had mine installed by local mechanic and the axle is too short. :frowning:

Just built up a CAAD13, found the frame new on ebay. Its a lot stiffer than my Argon 18 nitrogen was, but feels REALLY fast. I kept the mavic C40s, ultegra Di2, zipp bars/stem from the old bike. Black on black on black, just the way I like it!
