I just got the Favero Assioma Due Shi power pedals with plans to run them in my Shimano Ultrgra pedals. I’m curious if I can separate the right sensor from the left and run one on my road bike and the other on my gravel bike as a L and R only PM respectively. I understand there is a 10mm total Q factor increase with the PM pedals so is it just as easy as putting a 5mm spacer on the non PM side or is the L and R pedals somehow codependent on each other as a set to function?
Nope, the left is the master and the right cannot be used separately to give power data.
