Screwing around this weekend with exotendons

Gotta be off the bike for a few days & today I was reading this study:

Connecting the legs with a spring improves human running economy | Journal of Experimental Biology | The Company of Biologists

A different take on running efficiency. I could not resist crating my own ‘exotendon’. What a bunch of absurd, ridiculous fun. Oh, the goofy things we humans do. On the other hand, this is the first time I’ve ever really wanted to get some sort of running power meter.

Does it help as much as the paper says? I can’t tell. +6.5% is probably beyond my theshold of perception. I want very badly to run a 5k with this device on, though.
