I have a Tacx Neo Direct Driver Trainer (with a Type 2 axle I think), and a Cannondale Caad8 bike (130x10mm rear dropouts). The issue is that when I try to mount it with the supplied QR adaptor, the trainer axle ends up being a bit too wide (~135mm), so I have to stretch the rear drop out by a couple mm to fit. Since it is an AL frame I am concerned about stretching it to fit even though it is not by much so I don’t think it will break it. I did a Zwift ride and it worked fine but I would rather find a properly sized adapter if it exists. Everywhere I look online I can’t find an adapter which is slightly shorter and will allow me to mount 130x10mm rear dropouts. Has anyone else had any success with this?

You’ve probably already seen this, but here’s the official answer from Tacx. Have you reached out to their support to see what they recommend? I had to get a new adaptor from them back before Garmin bought them, and after a few notes back and forth they sent me one, and I think I only paid postage (it was a long time ago though, so don’t quote me on cost)
Yeah it’s weird because on their site it says that 130mm width should be able to install without any adjustment, but clearly doesn’t on mine, I think it’s different because mine is the Neo whereas there’s is the Neo 2T. I reached out to Garmin so hopefully I can get a response. I ordered a QR130 block cap because it seems like that’s what I need.
