Reading another nearby power meter

I have a KickR trainer that I ride in ERG mode. While riding, Trainerroad continually looks for available nearby powermeters. I picks up someone elses powermeter and trys to adjust my power to their, eventhough I’ve have not connected to their powermeter, and have tried to disregard it. Thus making the workout useless

I use the PC app and TR will pick up my other PM but won’t use it unless I select in the Devices tab in the computer app. True for other sensors as well, incl HR and cadence. Are you using the phone app or computer app?

Yeah, it is possible to see devices in the vicinity in that section of the app, which includes seeing the data broadcast from them at the moment. But you won’t actually be reading / using that data unless you choose to pair it.

If you have actually paired to them in the past (intentionally or otherwise), you need to “Forget” that device and it will go back to just showing as an option in the Devices section.

As mentioned above, you may have to “forget” devices that are paired up with your TR app that you don’t want to be using.
