GCN+ totally worth it. Giro and XCC while âworkingâ today. Awesome cycling coverage for both MTB and road. CX coverage is great in the Fall too.

Not so sure. Fluk swapped out to a less travel fork, shorter handlebars and skinnier tires. Removing the rear shock is basically a lockout. All these changes are marginal at best though.

Just watched the menâs U23 coverage.
I have to say the bar has been lifted. GCN have made some great changes and will hopefully keep improving.
Terrific rides from the Kiwiâs. Two in the Top 10 (Sammie Maxwell 8th, Matthew Wilson 5th).
Looking forward to watching the Elite XCO racing tomorrow afternoon on the trainer.

It has been a minute since I have watched XC racing (and you should read that as âdecadesâ
)âŠI thought that was some damn good coverage of the Nove Mesto race. The use of drones, the quality of the course, etc.

Was awesome trainer fuel for me this weekend - I havenât sought out MTB racing much in recent years, similar to other posters. As an amateur fan this was a great experience. Both the production and the racing were top notch

Is this rule a result of what happened to MVDP in the Olympics?? I always thought it, the Olympic XCO course, was a bad course designâŠfault was with the Japan or whomever had responsibility to build the course.

I hear you, but we do have multiple great women, like Kate, Hannah, Savilia, Haley, and Gwendolyn off the top of my headâŠmany of who are very active in trying to encourage more young girls to race.

Agree the womens side of MTB XC has been in much better shape for a period of years Lea Davidson I think just stopped racing WC shortly before the pandemic enter Kate⊠The men need to catch upâŠmaybe with Blevins recent success at WC and Cape Epic it will grow.

I thought that it was a terrific course for what it was.
Could have done with a longer start loop, or some more climbing. That drop was epic and they should have just left it rampless for men and women and built a B-line.
The big mistake was thinking you could have a different course for men and women.

The trail in italy on the loose dry rocky trails might fall into the category of âlooks better than it isâ. Iâd rather ride loam than shale any day. At least on a Marathon trail thereâs not likely to be euro switchbacks that donât carry flow.
