My powermeter battery ran out mid way through my ride yesterday. I assumed that TR would make an estimate of the TSS for the rest of the ride from my Heart Rate but when I checked it had only used the TSS recorded whilst my PM was working. Can I manually add an estimated chunk of missing TSS?
No. That’s not currently possible. If it’s an important ride for you, you can email support and have them help you remove all power information from the ride file. Then it will be possible to estimate TSS based on your heart rate.
Thanks. No it wasn’t an important ride but just probably 30 TSS or so missing.
Removing power data can be done already with gotoes.org . If you don’t already have the original file from your head unit on your computer, you can download it from trainerroad, then upload to gotoes
Otherwise, you could estimate the remaining TSS, add a ride to your calendar for the same day, & mark it as completed.
My go to for things like that is usually to export the original file from Garmin/Strava/TR… then edit the .Fit file on fitfiletools.com to strip out bad data or limit odd high data it if HR or power spikes are error . Then export the new edited file to computer… and then delete original workout in TR/Strava and then import that new edited workout. EZ-PZ! Takes a couple minutes at most. Then you can just use HR TSS…or edit it to a manual TSS based on RPE
