I don’t have an answer for you, but wanted to point out that most quarq spider PMs are SRAM 8 bolt now. Make sure you get a SRAM 3-bolt spider.
Thank you for the heads up. I already have both a quarq spider with xx1 cranks and the wings. Wanted to take off the spider and put it on the wings. I‘m 90% sure the spider has that 3 bolt interface but it looks like I have to try it out as I can’t find any info online. Might write CaneCreek an email on monday.
If it’s 3-bolt I’m sure it will work. The spider is designed with clearance for the crank arm and eeWings aren’t that different from any other arm.
But quarq has been using 8 bolt since 2016 by my research: PM cranksets came with 8 bolt crank arms even while standard cranks were all 3 bolt.
Bummer. For the eeWings, you could go with a Sigeyi spider for about $370 if I recall. They work great.
Thank you for the suggestion. The eewings are currently on my commuter/bikepackingbike. I didn’t want to have power on there but wanted to change the cranks over to my hardtail with power as I think that would look quite neat
