Pedal stroke, 10w/kg efforts

Hi all,

I’m interested in the pedal stroke during short; <1min, but high; >8w/kg intervals. I’ve watched a few videos on people putting down 10w/kg for a minute, or 1500w 15sec power and it almost looks effortless.

What should i think about wrt cadence, standing vs sitting, pedal smoothness (vs stomping) when trying ti hit these peaks?

Happy to be pointed to a podcast or other thread if this has been discussed previously.
