I am a bit confused, regarding the difference between vo2max and anaerobic zone.
Say I am supposed to do a 6x2 min intervals at vo2max ( 342 w ).
When I do the ride outside, ,its difficult for me to keep at/under 342, and on avr. i am riding about 370w, which then turns my work into the anaerobic power zone instead of Vo2.
So what is the difference, and, does it mather as long as i am going as hard as possible for the 2 minutes? Do i get some other adaptations with this?
