Out of the flu bed and onto the racecourse

My local club races are short, so they’re pretty approachable from off the couch, or after a few weeks / months of intermittent lung infections. So instead of waiting for a longer B or C race, I entered a little fatigued from yesterdays “familiarisation” mtb ride and rolled around with the group energy a race brings. Recommended!

Observations from metrics:
IF of ~1, so my FTP is about right
Peak power of 1000 is a nice surprise, given no recent VO2 or anaerobic work
Max HR is close to an all time high

It’s a little hard to find a TR workout with 15 minutes of anaerobic, to match this to :wink:
