Occasionally switch workout-days

My training plan has four workouts a week (Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday). I often have to move workouts around because of work and other stuff. I’m looking for the best way to do this. For example, I want to plan my week on a Sunday, and set Tuesday Wednesday Saturday and Sunday as workout- days (switching Thursday for Wednesday). Not ideal from a training point of view, but life gets in the way. Given the new ai-system, I would want tr to give me the best workouts for this schedule. But I can’t find a way to do this, other than just loading Thursdays workout on Wednesday, or using Train now. I simply want to make micro changes to my training schedule, just for a specific week. Any suggestions?

Are you doing three hard days a week or two?

That would make it a bit harder because ideally you want to keep sepárate your hard days with easy days or days off.

Now I’ve have done two days in a row, usually the higher intensity day one the first day followed buy a lower intensity day then a day off.

If you’re ok with this it could work with the two days off you’ll have afterwards.

So say Tuesday, Wednesday hard workouts where then your next workouts will be Saturday and Sunday.

An example of the workouts would be Threshold Tuesday, Sweetsport or Tempo Wednesday then your off days.

If that’s a bit too much then you can’t go wrong with and Endurance Ride on Wednesday.

You can use the AI to pick the workouts.

All of this is assuming you’re doing three hard workouts a week.

I think your best bet is to move Thursday to Wednesday and let it adapt. My guess is that it may change it to an endurance ride.

Doing a hard ride on tired legs isn’t ideal. If it’s a sweet spot it might be ok.

I’m first and foremost looking for a way to tell TR I’ll be doing Tuesday and Wednesday this week, and the have AI pick the right workout based on my plan and so forth. I know I can change my whole plan, but I just want to make small adjustments for this specific week

Maybe I’m misunderstanding, but on your training calendar you should be able to drag the Thursday workout onto Wednesday and it will adjust all your workouts to optimize for that schedule. It will only move that one workout, not all Thursdays. I do this all the time with my Friday workouts. Life happens and sometimes Saturdays are just better to ride on.
