Any word on accuracy (or any other issues) with the Quarq on the 9200 rings? Thinking of going with this exact setup on a new bike, but Iā€™m not sure if there are any compatibility issues or not.

Parts availability seems good in the US now for 12 speed ultegra.

Just picked up an R8170 groupset piecemeal sans cranks and rotors.

My brief foray into SRAM 12 speed axs road was fine but shimano quality and shifting remains a cut above.

Hi all!
My DA9200 is coming soon and Iā€™m ready to prep and wax a couple of chains.
Iā€™d like to use a YBN gold or rainbow chains, but I havenā€™t found any reviews or experiences with their latest gen of 12s chain and the new 12s Shimano group sets.
Has anyone tried such setup?

just wondering, the new shifters are not servicable anymore? I would need to replace a broken front plate on a new Ultegra shifter but this does not seem possible anymore.

Question is then, from a cost perspectiveā€¦ since 105 Di2 12sp chainrings are black as well, would be interesting to see how they look on the Quarqā€¦

Oh, the see-through carbon weave is super sexy. The paint job is nice, too, but I would have totally gone for either the blue or green bike.

Looks very good. What ā€žlevelā€œ are those Quarq arms? Because they were downgraded from Red to force at some point. Neither is bad, but Red is of course very light.
Mine look very Franken-crank(en), with it saying ā€žRedā€œ on a Shimano bike.

Nooooo idea honestly. I have one bike with RED crank arms, and one with the QUARQ onesā€¦ haha

Total weight is 795g with the 52/36 :slight_smile: 170mm.

Normal kitchen scale so canā€™t comment on accuracyā€¦

Thatā€™s really good anyway. And you have a better PM and crank than standard Shi.

Yeah I love this thing, but I HATE the fucking bolt on these that tend to ā€œjamā€ (DUB Bolt).

Shimano preload and crank arm attachment is way way betterā€¦

But rather have issues taking the crankset off than wrong watts so :wink:
