I just checked and I have the same issue with outside rides. Until now I didnโt notice really though, since it is a much smaller portion of a ride that gets cut.
I would have thought that the privacy zone data is not recorded in exercise data, but applied by the platform youโve sent the data to. So TR would need to create their own.
I think that is why TR has always enabled the User to put your account to private so no one can see your calendar and rides.
Thanks for reporting! This is one we have on our list and are actively working on. Should be fixed soon.
Runs recorded as trail runs come through fine - I did one this morning.
Obvious question though - why are the durations slightly different?
Lol, I recorded my walk to the shops at lunch as a run just to see if TR would recognise it, and it does
Importing Garmin workouts to the TrainerRoad calendar isnโt possible
The data displayed is the data received. Some have had issues with cycling as well and have synced via Garmin rather than Strava to avoid it if that is an option for you
RE: Outdoor ride distance in TR differs from Strava - #6 by Wayne
That explains it thanks and is probably why I have never had an issue my TR account reads of Garmin and Strava (the magic of TR combining them)
I only enabled Strava in order to get Zwift rides to sync to TR. Why would the sync from Strava to priority over the one from Garmin? Is there a way to make everything work as youโd expect?
Some findings:
- Run not shown in Career โ Training Stress โ Week. Also run TSS not added there.
- TSS should be shown in Calendar entry
- Manually entering TSS should be much easier accessible from the calendar (without opening the runโs dedicated workout page).
2 recovery runs arround 30 minutes, both have 1 TSS, is this normal atm?
I have tears in my eyesโฆ FINALLY!!! THANK YOU TR!!
First try today. Import worked, data from both Garmin and Strava. No start/end cutoff, so it clearly used the Garmin data.
Got an โestimate effortโ pop up to create a TSS for the workout, I entered 8, this showed a TSS of 57, but got me an error when confirming. TSS now showsโฆ 8. This can be reproduced by editing the activity. Thereโs clearly a bug, and it ends up putting the RPE into the TSS field.
See my comment - there seems to be a bug in the RPE - TSS input.
but clear when you read one comment before my one:
Will look into this. Should be addressed within the next week
Thank you for the new feature! Probably itโs just a little hiccup โ I noticed that maps didnโt show up in the previews on TR when my run was imported from Strava today.
