I’d try logging out and back into the app to see if that prompts an update.

Let me know what you find! :upside_down_face:

Alright… so case closed… I did not have to log out and back into the app itself…

All I needed to do was close and restart the app. Doing this just now reminded me that back in the day when an app update was being performed the user would see a message and/or progress bar “in app” in the upper right hand corner regarding the update, then could choose whether or not to restart before starting a session. Post restart I am now running a build from 2/10/25.

Off topic from the thread, of course, but I always liked that update message appearing, then I could choose to restart if I wanted prior to session start. It was also an opportunity to look at the change log as well (which at the time would display after restart if memory serves).

Might be nice if that came back (at least the update message)!!!

There was a thread a year or so ago, where one or two users complained about the “constant” updates. While I have no problem with updates, messages, etc. especially if they occur in the background, I guess TR decided to make it even more hidden in response.

Yep. I liked knowing about the updates too!

We had some athletes who liked to let us know that they didn’t like seeing so many updates though, so we ended up keeping them a bit more quiet. :upside_down_face:

Yeah, I remember the thread being referenced as well. I kept my finger on that one too. Guess it just took this scenario for my old brain too remember it all! Thanks for listening and sorry for derailing this thread temporarily.

The fix for this just went into production!

As soon as your app updates, things should be back as they were.

Is there a way to force or check for an update with the Mac app?

logging out and back in should do the trick if it hasn’t updated on its own
