There is a wide range of protection levels amongst various brands.
Some don’t list UPF at all and simply say summer-weight long sleeve.
Others indicate UPF 25 or 28 which isn’t that great for long days in the sun. I suppose that’s better than SPF 50 sunscreen that won’t last for hours.
One brand is UPF 35 but I can’t remember who that was.
One lists UPF 50 but that is front panel only with no mention what level the mesh fabric used for back, side and sleeves provides. My guess is UPF 25.
