Let’s see some Tri/TT rigs

My Covid project is finally complete. Picked the frame up off a guy on my tri team and built the rest. Wheels came yesterday for the finishing touch. Now I just need the US/Canada border to get sorted out so Ironman Tremblant can happen in August!

I have the same ATTK box on the top tube on mine… never actually had anything in it but i tell myself it makes things more aero and cleans up the lines nicely!!!

Haha I’ve been trying to figure out what to put in there. I just knew the bike had to have it.

only thing i can think of is rice cakes, might fit 1 gel or 2 at a real push.

TroikaMax is finally here! I promise I’m not actually copying you @Aeroiseverything! Maybe it’s just that great minds think alike

Originally had both an Aerocoach Titan and the TroikaMax on order, canceled the TroikaMax, then had numerous delays with the Titan, canceled it and ordered the TroikaMax again, and here we are. Amazed that it arrived in less than a week’s time after waiting ~4 months for Aerocoach before cancelling.

My lawyer is going to double check if this is copyright infringement!

I stole the idea from Alex Dowsette

Good choice  I use a revolver disc and at a guess it knocked over a minute of my times overnight for what seemed like less effort :+1:

Yup, that’s the same reason I was interested initially. Alex’s setup from TT Worlds.

Once the winter in Germany stops in around 13 months, I am really looking forward to finally mounting racing tires.
But I love the set up so much

That’s just mega nice!
Have you gotten along well with the Veloflex Record? I have yet to try them proper, just a few spins.
In my current state I would likely go GP5000 on the front and a faster tire on the rear. But this is of course the outright fastest set up possible!

Jeez that’s quite a dinner plate chainring!! Looks at least like a 56 if not a 58?

It’s a 60

I haven’t actually ridden the Veloflex yet. It was quite the pain to get mounted on that wheel though, especially with trying to take care not to pinch the latex tube. I’m racing a crit tomorrow, so hopefully I’ll be able to take it out for a spin on Sunday.

Made a couple updates.

Pretty happy with it so far!

Turned in a sub 58’ 40k, which is a pretty good effort for me. Front end is a bit higher than I would like and arms could be narrower. It’s my first TT fit though, so plenty of room to push it as I get more comfy in position.

Looks like you are on a fairly quiet course too. I did my first 25miles (circa 40km) on a TT fast course last weekend and without being maxed out (I wish I’d tried harder now ) I knocked 4mins 29s of my PB. A few more goes to get use to it/ tweak it and you’ll be flying :muscle: and on a fast course, :rocket: :+1:
