Here is my TR 01 30X2 list:
Franklin’s Tower – The Grateful Dead (From Dead Set)
Elephant Talk – King Crimson
Make the Music Go Bang – X
The Promised Land – The Grateful Dead (From the Steal Your Face CD)
The Crystal Ship – The Doors
Quest for Fire – Iron Maiden
Run to the HIlls – Iron Maiden
Epic – Faith No More
The Brahm’s Piano Quartet #1 in G Minor the Rondo all Zingarese Movement
Fight the Good Fight – Triumph
Mississippi Half Step Uptown Toodooloo – The Grateful Dead from DIck’s Picks 1
Astronomy – Blue Oyster Cult
Turn to Hate – Orville Peck
The Lineman – NFL FIlms
Three of a Perfect Pair – King Crimson
Mother’s Daughter – Santana
Particle Man – They Might be Giants
Scuttle Buttin’ – Stevie Ray Vaughn
Symphony #5 in C Minor First Movement – Beethoven.

Run to the HIlls turns my legs into thunderbolts – that is some serious charge I get from that song. Also a song that is not on this list but I go ga-ga over is Hard to Handle from 7/31/1971 at the Yale Bowl (Grateful Dead).

Can’t find Yale bowl….

There are other versions, please use one from 1972 or earlier – Pigpen dies in '72 and I don’t think the 'Dead performed that song after his passing but if they did it is most likely not worth listening to. I downloaded it from Archive Org, I don’t think that particular show is published to an official release.

Minute 15 of the ramp test “Seek & Destroy” by Metallica goes full blast.

The song makes you want to kick @$$. Just what you need when you’re pissed and sucking wind.

The Fire on the Mountain from Cornell ‘77 has pulled me through more than a few workouts over the years! Oh, and I’ll have to look for that Hard to Handle; the one on my list is Hollywood 8-6-71.

For a more recent addition to my workout and playlist, I have Yes I Know by the pack a.d.

I’ve already been working on this playlist for a couple years.

Open it in the app to see more than this preview:

A few standouts:

Most of these are a lot different from the hard rock I’m seeing posted, but if you’re looking for strong beats with good energy, check them out.
