I went from a Giro Code to the mx241, both size 43. Also tried a Bontrager shoe, 42.5. (I was told to try the mx241 because of my wide/flat feet.) No heel slip on the 241, only knock is they are a bit heavy, & hot. No other shoe I’ve worn is as comfortable as the Lake’s.
First time I ordered I had the measurements but then looked at their size comparison chart. I second guessed the numbers and ordered “my size”. They were too small. Went with the Lake guidance (don’t forget to add 5 mm) and it worked out fine.
Exactly! I forgot to add the 5mm and received a pair that were too small but fortunately, I ordered from Competitive Cyclist so they were easy to exchange. Had I followed their sizing instructions properly, the shoes would’ve been dead on. I wear CX332s and absolutely love them!
