Is this carbon frame fixable

my chain got jammed and in the commotion I fell off causing this damage. Do you think this is fixable?

The bike is a giant propel carbon disc.

Rim and fork are not a problem. Magic marker. Maybe some ride wrap on the forks in case it falls over again.

Can’t really tell how deep the damage to the frame is. I’m sure it’s fixable.

The puncture-looking hole to your stay is by far the most concerning of these, since you can see broken carbon fibers in there, but it’s almost certainly fixable. The chain drop damage under your crank may or may not be serious, as it’s hard to tell from these images whether it’s superficial or actually into the carbon. Either way that’s a common spot for damage and is also fixable. A reputable carbon repair shop should be able to handle both.

I had similar sized hole in my chain stay and was able to get it fixed. Wouldn’t even be able to tell any damage had ever occurred now

Thanks for getting back to me. I had the frame inspected and they found this behind the crankset, the insurance company are being… challenging… they say this is fixable but I’d be interested to hear others thoughts, given the location and deepish gouge.

As someone that worked for an OEM bike brand and dealt with this stuff directly, all fixable. You’d be surprised what can be repaired :+1:

Probably not local to you but around here there’s a few places that inspect/repair carbon; this is one.
