saw another youtube vid where he was interviewed on the Chris Miller Show and he mentioned it but quickly followed up that it was only 1 other person and was sorta dismissive about the championship himself (not of his immense effort to actually compete and do well in the event - even though it was uncompetitive)
he’s super interesting and has a great voice to our hobby.
now that I look at that instagram post again up in post 2, it wasn’t HIM flaunting the national championship? somebody else was using him to promote some event and THEY were flaunting it.
I’ve heard him mention it twice now and he was not bragging about it at all. (meaning not bragging about actual title…not his fitness or accomplishment).
this was a little long but pretty interesting throughout.
