Intensely annoying responses by TR staff

Sorry…I don’t have the time or inclination to go hunting down something that I am really not sure what I am looking for.

I’m gonna go with the latter

Hey! I’m perfectly normal, everyone else is weird. From my perspective.

(I’m not going to fidget with trying to make the text pink, but that was sarcastic/joking)

If what I do is helpful then…we’re all in trouble.

I like the highly un politically correct classification of a**holes with opinions.

Hello!! Rest assured your question is very important to us. Due to an unusually high rate of forum posts, we are unable to answer right now. Please hold and we will provide assistance as soon as the next poster is available.

TL;DR - Seems normal around here with perhaps a bit higher level of angst and insanity. But it is almost winter so that is expected.

Can we organise the tandem and get @ambermalika and @Nate_Pearson back on. Five a new meaning to group workouts.

What’s a bicycle made for four called?

There are a few over the past weeks. It seems, to me, to be a corporate change to responding to new posts.

If it is a corporate change then so be it. There are a large number of knowledgeable people outside the company who are answering the OP.

I think that was more the community than TR itself. A delivery issue rather than content.

You may have other interactions you’re thinking of, but just as an outside observer of that thread deterioration.

Not being a homer, I honestly haven’t noticed anything different

Chad is the main moderator (not a TR employee) who also has a 9-5 job(s) other than moderating
Ivy (A TR employee) is the community manager but she is also a cyclocross pro, who is in the midst of her season

Ivy recently has been going out of her way to offer help to people with their training plans, not sure what you would expect more. Jonathan and Nate will pop on when they want, or need to weight in on something, but I don’ t think that is ever an expectation.

If you want TR staff to answer a question reach out directly to them. They have an email address, and live chat during business hours. Forums are for members, we’re lucky they respond at all. Speaking of which when I posted last week re burn out, Nate, the bloody CEO, posted a 250 word response along with screenshots and breakdowns of my calendar. The guy literally went through 3 months of my workouts before making suggestions on what I could do. He was thoughtful, thorough and not the least bit judgmental.

I finally joined TR not for the workouts, not for the software but to support an incredible grass roots, community orientated company. I’ve dealt with businesses all over the world, in every industry imaginable and never, never in my life have I experienced the level of customer support as I have from these guys. Top down and sideways, almost all of them have gone well and truly out of their way to help me.

So yes, I think your expectations are maligned.

Is this post some sort of performance art?

Sometimes I read a thread and after about 5 minutes think that someone is just messing with me.

This feels unproductive af. Should probably be shutdown

I would never do that to you.

This whole forum has jumped the shark and should be shut down. What does this post have to do with getting faster?

Can you link to just one? I can’t seem to find anything that trips me up, but maybe I’m missing it.

How about one single example?

All of us here arguing about how good/bad the TR staff are keeps us worked up and off the bike. We get slower, so our competition is relatively faster. In a sense, somebody is getting faster. The system works!
