Indoor to Outdoor OR Outdoor to Indoor?

Is there a way to start a workout indoors and then finish outdoors? Or vice versa? I’m looking to do a few hours of an endurance workout indoors and then once the weather warms up a bit, finish the remainder of the workout outside. This would be a 4 hour endurance workout.

There isn’t an “official” way to do so, but I would suggest either:

  • Loading up your full 4-hour Z2 workout as an Outside Workout on your bike computer and simply pausing it when you’re ready to switch to riding outside and then resuming once outdoors (remember to make sure the GPS on your head unit is turned on!)
  • Adding two separate workouts to your TR Calendar – one as an Inside Workout, and the other as an Outside Workout, and completing each one separately
