Inability to sync state in the app

Hi,

I’ve been noticing for a while now that the new version of the TR app does seem to have an issue with syncing state (at least in the UI).

If one runs TR on multiple devices or via Zwift, it can happen e.g. on an iPad, that the app was running before a workout. After doing something to update the state (e.g. perform a workout) it appears a previous already opened app does not notice the update without manual intervention (e.g. switching from career to calendar view and back).

In the old UI one could at least see the refresh button spin to see the app trying to update and/or use the button to trigger a sync. Now it’s not possible to know if a sync is happening but slow or the app just doesn’t sync automatically. Either way it would be nice to get back some sort of sync indicator.

Hey @martenk

Maybe with the new AI system it just takes more time for the servers to send all the data to all the other apps.

I’ll bring your feedback to the team!

If the data transfer is just slow, this brings me back to the ask for a loading indicator like it previously existed with the spinning arrow of the refresh button.

But given that the UI already looks different (indicating e.g. a AI Prediction process started) just by switching from career to calendar and back, it looks more like there’s some event or a poll for a change in the data missing
