A week ago I completed Vennacher -1. If I’m reading the TR screen correctly, this was a 4.2 workout but it gave me credit for 4.6 (higher then Rx power?). Then on Tuesday I failed a VO2 workout - perhaps due to heavy leg day 2 days before or just going out too hard. Regardless, got through 7 or 8 of the 12 intervals and then imploded. Tomorrow is now threshold again and Rx is Cloudripper -2 (4.0). If I manually change it to Vennacher -1 again it says I’m likely to fail. Just trying to understand the logic of one bad VO2 meaning I’m unlikely to be able to complete a Threshold workout I did last week and whether I should trust the process or try to repeat last week’s effort.
My guess is that it’s worried you are fatigued. I’d probably do Cloudripper after the first set raise the intensity if you feel good.
I agree with @LacticacidMCB
How did you fill in the survey after that VO2 workout?
It’s not super wise to try to push your boundaries shortly after failing a really hard workout, especially if the reason for failing is something that could still be relevant in your next workout (illness, fatigue, etc.).
