Not sure if I’ve mentioned this anywhere, I ended up cutting off the end plug, soldered on a new one, some heat shrink too, to make it look good , replaced with a 90degree right angled one, less chance of it now being knocked and fingers crossed, I’ve had no issues in the last year with it:)
Must be a batch of dodgy plugs or more likely just that they stick out and get “hammered” and eventually fail…

Nice I’ve thought about this very hack!!! I’ve stepped on my cord a few times, just recently bought a generic replacement on Amazon after a finally snapping it off. I ordered a generic one off amazon, but I rummaged through my cords bin and considered doing this exactly. What a terrible location for the plug!
Since I’ve done this I haven’t caught it once… Re-edited post, don’t think photo uploaded…
Got an adapter from Amazon. Matched all the specs and pin. But now the pin doesn’t fit. Another week of no trainer. Anyone able to help?
Which one did you order? Mine just crapped out today. Do you have the link? Thanks!
