Green "actual" line on unstructured outdoor rides?

Hi,

Just wondering if anyone knows what this is? I’ve attached two images, one zoomed in to an effort and the other an overview of the whole ride. I’ve also checked the How to Analyze Ride Data page where it’s visible in the last screenshot but not mentioned in the writing at all.

I’ve also noticed this green line only appears on days when I had a TR workout scheduled but the workout is not associated with the outdoor ride. Assuming it has something to do with this even though the “actual” line doesn’t line up with the workout’s target power at all.

It’s how AI Nate would have ridden the ride.

Is there a score for the ride?

Nah, no score.

Hey @dangardiner

This looks to be an extra data point that your device is recording as it green line is being called “Actual” per the screenshot…

When you ride outside, what devices do you use? E.g., power meter, head unit, HR monitor, speed sensor… If you let me know what brand and model that could be helpful info.

Karoo 3, Assioma Duo, heart rate monitor is something from Magene I think, nothing is new though and I’ve only noticed this on my last few outdoor rides.

You’ve got me thinking now, I wonder if it’s Karoo extension I’ve installed recently that is putting extra info in my ride data. I might have a dig around myself.

Whatever it is, it seems to correlate with the ride profile: if there’s an incline in the profile, the line jumps up. If it’s a noticeable climb it stays up for the duration of the climb.

Yeah, you’re spot on.

It’s an extension I installed recently called 7climb, during “climbs” it displays a watts target to hit for pacing purposes (and logs the target in the .fit file which TR reads too). Obviously it’s a little sensitive as this entire ride only had about 300m elevation, I guess there is no minimum threshold/climb length for it to start working.

That was a funny one but thanks to those who provided suggestions!
