Does anyone use the add/remove gear feature in the app? I’ve noticed I can’t remove gear from an activity if I’ve used a different bike than the default bike, have to go into the website to remove it
Hmm, that is weird–I don’t think it has always been that way, but I’m not sure. It definitely seems to be Add only right now.
No you could def add and remove before now.
Also noticed in my calendar, all my cycling activities are shown as move IQ events rather than recorded with an edge.
not that specific use case, however I was able to add/remove gear and a bike on iOS app.
And again to respond to myself, I have had to call Garmin to nudge on my warranty claim. They received my broken trainer a little while back but hadn’t updated that so hadn’t allocated me a replacement.
Guy was helpful enough but still sounds like chaos there.
I contacted them on Twitter last week, the emails to say the issue is resolved in today’s app software update
Anybody having issues today? I can’t get my watch to sync with the Connect app or get the connect website to load.
Servers are down again.
yup, down for me.
It’s all red on the status page: Garmin Connect |
While the status page shows all red for me too I’m still able to access my Dashboard and all the other features on Garmin Connect. Even logged out and back in with no problems. Hmm.
Oooh, I just tried and I was able to log in (on web) too. Let’s see if my watch syncs…
…
…
Yes. (Eventually.)
Fine on my phone.
You can always check this link if it’s not working for you…
Looks like all systems down at Garmin again.
Edit: everything now reporting up
Garmin’s servers down! Hopefully it’s not anything serious
Possibly a RideLondon massive upload event…
Depending on how complex the workout is, just go the old fashioned route and tape the intervals to your top tube. After the ride, associate it with the TR workout.
Or do it by memory. There isn’t a reason why an outdoor workout is soo complex you need a computer to do the workout correctly. The only part where I wish I had a workout on the computer is helping me keep track of the interval count when doing VO2 workouts
