Feature Request - Weekly Tips Access

I don’t see a way to access the Week Tips from the training plans on the Calendar. These would be nice to have access right from there as opposed to having to drill back into the Training Plans section every week.

I previously had added an annotation at the start of each week in my plans on the Calendar for quick tracking of the plan weeks. I decided to copy and paste the Week Tips into the “Description” field of the Annotation.

Having something like this created automatically and linked to the plan on the Calendar would be handy and a time saver (vs doing it manually with create and copy/paste as I did).


It’s a nice idea! The tips are a bit hidden and I almost always forget to read them. It’s a good way to have a better view and understanding of the coming week.


I was just going to post this request, but I see you beat me to it. Nice workaround with the annotations, but obviously not something we want to do manually. Plus, the week description is based on default weekdays for each workout rather than the weekdays picked by the user (that is, me).


Would be great if TR incorporates this into the calendar. I find it very useful.

This is on the roadmap. This could change of course, but our current idea is to place a weekly annotation at the beginning of the week with the week’s goals/description.

Another one for this weekly tips. They are so soooo helpful and I forget to look at them now I am calendar based over looking at me plan. I am coming back from sickness this week and I was looking at a way to ease back in, so planned a different work out. Then I looked at the tips and coach Chad had already offered that alternative in the form of the original workout reduced in intensity.
Reading those tips at the start of a week really helps me mentally prepare for the week ahead. :slightly_smiling_face::+1:


Any update on this? I was listening to the podcast recently and Jonathon and Chad discuss how people dont read the tips, and how it can provide over arching info on the weekly goals or alternate options.

Where can I see these weekly tips?

Weekly tips get added to your calendar any time you use Plan Builder or apply a a plan the old way.

They are placed as an annotation on the same day as your first workout of the week.

Hmmm. Is this a plan added "recently " or from a. Longer time ago?

Also, I don’t use tri plans. Presumably they should be like the cycling ones, but maybe they work differently?

Yep, I added this plan, didnt use the plan builder because…well nothing is coming up so I just added it to the calendar, like the good ol’ days hahahahaha. I’ll put a ticket in with the the support crew.
