I’m trying to keep my FTP at a value until all my levels are at a good height. Working on the basis that it improves time at power as intervals get longer not higher.
I take the AI FTP detection each month mostly for curiosity and then ignore it, today I didn’t - 3w up from set FTP and 5w up from last detected which I also ignored - a couple of levels decayed and others didn’t.
As per the title it would be interesting to view the changes here before I accept the new FTP.

This would definitely be something interesting to see before accepting your FTP! However, I am not so sure how useful it would be on your basis
The reason why I say this is that TrainerRoad has evolved beyond using just Progression Levels or FTP alone to guide your training. When the system recommends a workout or an FTP change, it’s pulling from a much bigger picture: your recent training, your fatigue, your long-term trends, and how your fitness is actually progressing.
That’s why we recommend keeping your FTP up to date. When it reflects your current capabilities, TrainerRoad can choose better workouts; ones that support real, sustainable progress. This ensures progressive overload that supports sustainable fitness gains. That doesn’t always mean harder intervals. Often, it’s about spending more time at the right intensity and building durability, which is one of the most effective ways to get faster.
It’s also worth noting that even if you don’t update your FTP or if your PLs go up or down, TrainerRoad won’t simply base your next workout on those numbers alone. You could have a PL of 9.0 in a zone and still get a 7.5 workout recommended, depending on your overall training context. That’s not a step back, it’s the system making smart, individualized decisions to keep your training productive, so you don’t over do it. So in short, you can keep raising your PLs on purpose, but the system can recommend you lower Workout Levels.
Progress isn’t about maxing out every zone or chasing the highest number. It’s about doing the right work, at the right time, consistently. TrainerRoad is designed to guide you through that process with a bigger-picture view of your fitness so you build fitness sustainably and keep getting faster over the long haul.

Ohhhhhh, so skipping my FTP update each month on my weigh in day hasn’t really done anything positive or negative, every day is a school day here!
Thanks for the info!
