ERG and short efforts in regards to AIFTP and TN

I did a workout today with 40 second intervals followed by 20 second rests. AP for the efforts looks a bit low because it took a few seconds for ERG to ramp up. TBH, they also roll a little late into the rest.

At any rate, does AIFTP or Trainnow (for the purpose of suggesting WLs) see that as me struggling or some other signal? I could do it in slope, but ERG is easier.

Nope! We’re aware of this and you’re still getting the right stimulus from the workouts.

As you said, the power tends to stay on for just as long as it lagged at the start of the interval, so even if your AP is a bit low, you’re still getting the work in.

If you’re passing the workout all is well! :slightly_smiling_face:
