Endurance Mtb races in north east

Looking for suggestions for endurance Mtb races in the north east for the 2026 season. I did Wilmington white face last year and I am interested in doing it again but as of now I do not see a confirmed date for 2026. Has anyone done carrabassett 100? Or the VT 50?

I’ve done Slate Valley Epic twice, I can’t recommend it enough. Incredible trails, super well organized, super fun.
I also rode the inaugural RaceDay XC Marathon event this summer, which (like all the events in their series) was amazingly well-run, and also exceptionally brutal. It was on all-new trails built for the race that were quite bumpy and rugged due to their freshness. It was the hardest event I did all year.

24 Hours of Great Glen is another good one, if you want something super long.

Yeah I’m in the same boat as you, I’m looking around in the northeast for new races cause I don’t know what’s up with wilmington whiteface

Both Carrabassett and the Vermont 50 are great races; lots of fun single track (more than WW) and LOTS of climbing. Both races are quite well run. Carrabassett can be quite warm.

The Wilderness 101 is usually the last weekend of July and my favorite 100 mile backcountry MTB race.

Transylvania Productions puts on good races in PA. They have a MTB stage race in central PA, the Transylvania Epic. I’ve raced gravel with them up there. Beautiful woods

Thanks for the suggestion. I had never heard of the slate valley race but it looks great. I work not to far from the race day Xc race but have never ridden there and wasn’t evan aware of the trails.

Slate Valley trails are excellent.

I’ll definitely be back at both this year. Say hi if you see me!
