Just as an example, here are two days in a row where your completed work looks nothing like what was prescribed.
Are you talking about “prescribed” by TR or TP? If you’re talking about TR, I haven’t used their workouts in 5-6 weeks. If you’re talking about TP, these changes were made after discussing with my coach.
The point of today’s screenshot and post was to show ftp (from TR) can increase even when you don’t do their workouts…. This only adds to my confusion. I’m not bashing TR. I’ve used it over 8 years and want to use it again. I am simply trying to figure this AI out.
I’m lost. I’ll leave this to others. Good luck!
Well the AI is looking at the work you are doing, it doesn’t have to be the TrainerRoad stuff. Also I would recommend giving your non TR workouts a rating as well. You don’t seem to do that?
As far as I understand the AI will do its best to give you a prediction but it’s going to be more accurate if you rate the workouts honestly.
I think the AI and this forum will be confused if you have a TR plan in your calendar but are following a non-TR plan.
The AI will be predicting FTP based on your successful completion of TR planned workouts. Which you never will.
I would delete the plan and any TR workouts. Disable fatigue management. Don’t look at FTP
Hey @dechols ![]()
Can I have permission to post relevant information about what’s going on with your Calendar and AI FTP Detections per our forum guidelines here [click]?
I can see a lot of confusion on this thread that would be easily explainable if I can share those details. We’re not seeing the full context of what’s going on with your training history/AI FTP Detections.
If not, I recommend emailing support@trainerroad.com and we can help you look at your account in detail and answer any questions ![]()
I totally agree with the calendar confusion. I have not looked at this calendar since early Feb, when I stopped using TR, until this week when someone asked for a screen shot. I did not realize my TP workouts were being posted on TR calendar, and I had not deleted the TR workouts simply because I was not using TR.
You’re welcome to use this anyway you’d like. As far as the emailing. I have been emailing customer support back & forth for exactly 1 month (Feb 18th), and the emails seemed to be AI generated too… I even had one email with two simple questions using BOLD Red fonts and neither question was addressed, therefore I have up on this approach.

I’ve had this exact experience with Lazy Mountain
I see the back-and-forth conversations you’ve been having with Keagan. He is one of our Support agents and very real ![]()
The red questions you are mentioning it looks like he answered: " on my end your red questions were not coming through", but then responded and has reached out twice since Friday.
Since we already have a Support ticket, I’ll let Keagan take the lead on the TR side of things.
As far as having an answer to your main question on this forum thread so it doesn’t cause any confusion, I’ll reiterate Keagans answer: At the minute, there is no way to turn off TrainerRoad AI. However, what we can do is disable Fatigue Detection and that would stop TrainerRoad AI from adjusting your workouts due to fatigue. You can do this by following the link to your settings below and toggling it off:
We are currently monitoring the requests to have an enable and disable TrainerRoad AI, so I will be sure to pass this on to the team. The more requests we get the higher the liklihood that we will build this functionality.
As for workout intensity being decreased, I would suggest trying to select a workout appropriate to how hard you are going to ride. So if you have an Endurance workout that you want to do as a recovery spin, but know you not going to hit that target, then try an dlook for a workout with a slightly lower power target. TrainerRoad will still be taking the raw power data into consideration
