new giro imperial II 30% at BTD, limited sizes available it seems

Not sure if I just got lucky, but I ordered some AliExpress stuff and didn’t get charged anything extra. A couple Ti bolts that were $3 each, some $20 jerseys, a bag of pedal spacers, and one of those mini e-pumps. No extra taxes or duties.

My guess is that it’s going to be a lottery with tariffs. Some shipments are going to make it through untouched. Some are going to get slapped with the 140% or whatever the going rate is that day of the week. There’s so many packages coming in right now (may drastically reduce) that I don’t think they have the manpower to go through every single package.

Not sure if I’d be willing to bet on more expensive stuff like wheels though that could almost triple in price. $1000 wheelset becomes $2500. Nope.

From now on I’m only buying consumables. And trying to buy from current stock before the price hikes.

I know HandUp seems to be perennially on sale, but just in case you need something…

Take 25% off site wide with the code APRIL25.

10% being added to Specialized pricing in May for tariffs.

Buy your bikes now… increase sales right before the end of the quarter report at the CEO board meeting!

Joking aside… Bikes are already expensive. Adding another 10% is going to slow sales even further. Not going to be good for the bike industry.

Love the line item idea

Just the one specific bike, not everything.

For now, at least.

I’ve been eyeing a new Checkpoint and it’s up $300 overnight (bit more on the higher spec versions). Still shows the old price if I try to buy online. Wonder if I should just pull the trigger  :grimacing:

May 1st for all other bikes and equipment.

And here I am waiting my pro deal to work on those world cup wheels… will end up paying the samemprice :joy:

Honestly, if you have been considering it, I would. Realistically, prices are only going to go up.

The worst case scenario is they don’t…but you still got a new bike. :smiling_face_with_sunglasses:

If it is something you already wanted and budgeted for, then yes. What’s the worse that can happen? You find it on sale a year later for $500 less. Congrats, you got to ride the bike for a year for only $500.

Well Allied raised the price before the Able was even released, Forbidden new evikes have price TBD! And Revel seems tonjuat have closed it’s doors liquidating inventory, not sure if this is considered deals or not

But you’ll feel like you got an advantage once you see the tariffs in reality!
