Deals / Sales / Discounts for Fitness Stuff (2024)

I’ve never tried the 540, but I really like the 840, it’s the first I’ve had that wasn’t a 5XX. For me it does everything I need and well.

Here is what the 840 has that the 540 doesn’t have:

  1. Touchscreen (yes, obvious)
  2. POI database, including restrooms, cycling shops and restaurants/convenience stores (great for finding places to stop during long rides).
  3. More memory - 32GB instead of 16GB. Means you can load more regional maps on the 840 at the same time. Might make it eligible for some software updates in the future (I’m not sure about this)

Excel Sports in Colorado have the Giro Synthe MIPS II for $88 down from $200

I read this wrong, I thought you could use the code to purchase the Pro Plan at 50% off but it looks like you have to be an existing Pro user to be able to purchase the gift certificate.
I’ve been contemplating trying this out. If any existing Pro users are feeling generous enough to buy me a gift certificate and I’ll Venmo you the cost. :sunglasses:

Walmart has some good deals on fitness things right now. Yes, it’s Walmart. Just think of it as supporting Northwest Arkansas and getting equipment that’s probably good enough for a good price.

I’ve only looked at these two things, but I’m sure there’s more.

The Feed has boxes of Maurten on 3 for the price of 2 special.
I did not buy gels because there is no way I could eat that many before they expire, but I did pick up 3 boxes of the C160 bars to split with someone.

Ordered my 2025 supply. Same price as last years sale.

You can buy the GC for yourself actually!

For US folks - not a sale, but a way to save on purchasing a Zwift Ride - ZWIFT Ride Smart Bike Now HSA Eligible with 30% Average Savings Thru TrueMed

Interesting…could be a good way to save a good chunk o’ cash. But I wonder what happens if you are deemed not eleigible….does the order get cancelled out or are you forced to pay the full amount?

Yeah good point.
I haven’t gone through the checkout process, but unless it asks for a backup payment method, then maybe the order is cancelled? I suppose it’s possible that your HSA provider could require you to reimburse the HSA account (in which case you’d be reimbursing the purchase price using after-tax dollars, eliminating the benefit), but I’m not sure.

It’s a little tricky that they don’t explain that the “Letter of Medical Necessity” is what makes you eligible for this. Not a fan that I had to read for the fine print just to understand how the process worked. And since you don’t find out until a couple of days after the transaction…
:man_shrugging: ?

My guess is that it is, in all likelihood, a “wink wink” approval process…just like getting a Rx for Viagra through various online providers that have online approvals.

Favero Black Friday deals

Disappointed by no deals on the PRO MX!

for the record, this has been the price since at least July

your HSA can get cancelled until you reimburse them. Really dumb rule…if youre already obese with Diabetes, you can get approved but if you want to get one to STAY healthy in the first place, you dont have a qualifying medical condition and often not approved

Backcountry has deals on some models of Lake shoes that never seem to be discounted.

Anyone seen any deals on white S-Works Torch road shoes? The other colours seem to always go on sale, but never the white ones

DCRainMaker has his Black Friday deals page up

I just automatically re-upped in October for the pro plan. Would I just save this and use it for next year, or is there some way to get a refund, etc?
