Same. Every year I see all the deals on clothes and then look in my closet and remind myself I have everything I need. And I have a road bike, mtb, and gravel bike with the oldest one being just over 2 years old.
As much as I like cool new stuff it’s just unnecessary right now

Clothing sales are generally starting a week earlier this year, but the sales so far are just ok. Rarely any blowout deals so far, especially when compared to BF last year where I was buying really nice clothes for 40%-70% off. I’m waiting for those sales.

Pactimo started their BF sale on October 24. Just checked the email to confirm. They started in a October last year too. It gets a bit earlier every year, kind of insane. But I’m happy to snag some good deals.

I am the same way - I have been just giving bikes and parts to local riders. I will see a new guy at the group ride that may be getting into the sport and just ask them if the have XYZ and pass it along to them if they don’t.
I still need to get rid of an old TT bike (Specialized Transition) and a bunch of rim brake wheelsets.

Anyone else getting a processing error when trying to renew your TP account?
I got some kind of error message after I clicked the pay button, but the payment processed…

The thing is, they had already reduced prices on the app. It used to be 35/mo, but the podcast had discount codes that with an annual sub brought it to $20. Then sometime after Zwift and TR had raised their prices, FC announced they were dropping theirs - which really just meant the discount code wasn’t needed anymore. The ‘50% off’ is from the original, no longer in effect price, not the current price. Still a savings, just not more of ~12% savings than 50%.

Yeah, unless I’m mistaken, the current 50% off price is the same as the previous 43% off price.
Aaah thanks for clarifying. I haven’t listened much to Frank’s pod ever since Jackson left and Ben started co-hosting. I was just passing on what I saw in my email. I wasn’t unaware they had already started slashing the annual. I did do the trial month and then one extra month back in the summer.
