The Melee would have sold like hotcakes at $3500-$4k and in a different color than concrete.
The Damascus Gray doesn’t photo well, put it in the sun and it’s one of the coolest colors I’ve seen, take a picture though, and it’s, like you said, concrete.
I feel like I have see some really good deals on used bikes. Tarmac SL7 Sworks most recently $5500 for a complete with Ultegra 12 speed without wheels and another weight wheelset for $6000. Also came across a Canyon Aeroad CFR with sram red complete for $4500.
There is a COVID hang over where people think they can still get close to retail for their used complete bikes. Maybe someone is dumb enough to buy it, but it seems like used bikes are not selling anywhere close to the prices they used to fetch. They even mentioned it on the TR podcast.
Agree, hard to pay sworks prices for a company’s first bike!

New bikes at all levels are going on real sale - 15 to 40 percent off. Used prices are falling, but not as fast as I think they should. Lots of bikes are sitting unsold until you get significant price drops.
Of course, prices are still higher than they were 4 years ago.

I’m not an MTB’er but I’m a fan of Fezzari’s road bikes. They started with MTBs and have an extensive lineup.

A guy local to my area bought a Fezzari fat bike and I rode it. It is a totally kick a** bike for the $$$. If their MTB offerings are even close to that value proposition I would not hesitate
I have an Empire, their endurance road bike, and have been very pleased. Great value for money.
I’ve found that FB bike prices are slowly dropping, but still too high. For example, Specialized has had brand new Expert level Tarmacs and Aethos bikes on sale for months. Some used ones on FB are at the same current sale price for a new bike.
Good to know. I have found Rapha jerseys to be on the short side for my size, I’m 6’0 but wear a medium. Haven’t tried a Castelli jersey yet, or at least not in years.
Has anyone got their Rapha jersey who ordered the blue one? Mine has been “pending” for the last week which is making me think they don’t actually have the stock and will end up cancelling it, which is no big deal.
I ordered after the restock and they shipped my three blue jerseys this morning.

I’ve seen TONS of sales on mtb’s over the last year. Just check out your favorite brand, and they are probably on sale (or will be soon if they’re taking a break from holiday sales). Even Specialized has been doing huge discounts on mtb’s.
Same here. Blue one pending for a week. I’m figuring no way it ships.
Yeah, my grey / pink one is supposed to arrive today, but th is no tracking information on it, so I am doubtful.
Similarly, no shipping info on the reordered blue / black one either….
