Deals / Sales / Discounts for Cycling "Stuff" (2018-2022)

25% off saddles through 31 Oct with promo code SADDLES25

BikeTiresDirect is showing 15% off things that might not normally have a discount. Shimano drivetrain, expensive wheels. Doesn’t work on everything.

Noticing the same at their sister site, Westernbikeworks.com. Assos stuff is getting the discount.

30% off lots of Sram stuff!!!

Yeah, SRAM just announced that they are letting dealers go below MAP for a limited time on select components.

Expect to see more of this very soon.

Looks like the inventory glut is growing!!

When I was looking for Sram Force shifters over the winter, they were 2x MSRP on ebay :grimacing::grimacing::grimacing::grimacing::grimacing::grimacing::grimacing:

I can try to post a screenshot from my text later, but Stages just sent out an early Black Friday sale on the SB20 bike for $1799. I suspect anyone can get access (link to the sale) by subscribing to notifications via the Stages site.

ETA, pic from email this morning:

Dayum.

Yeah, that is approaching stooped cheap levels IMO (I know it’s not cheap, but at that price it’s compelling). Barely more than the latest Neo or Kickr for a full setup that can serve serious duty and multiple riders with ease.

And with the Stages bike, you don’t have the ā€œknee brushā€ issue that you have with the Wahoo bike…I would definitely be hitting the frame if I got a Wahoo unit.

Yup…the inventory glut is real and it is rearing its head right now. Xmas shopping should be interesting!

As somebody with an SB20 (and Kickr) in my paincave, I’d suggest riding an SB20 before buying one. I’ve had mine for a year, and don’t exactly love it.

I alternate pretty regularly between rollers, the Kickr, and the SB20. Of the three platforms, the SB20 is easily my least favorite. I’m not sure there’s any price that would get me to buy another.

Love my neo bike and bought at retail about 1.5 years ago. Not 1 day goes by that I miss my neo2t with my trainer bike setup.

Great time to buy a smart bike and love how there is little or no maintenance. Each have pros/cons depending on what you want but a great time if you are in the market.

Can you use Smart Bikes (Kickr, Stages, etc) with the Peloton App for spin classes? My wife might be interested if so. From what I read it’s a manual experience that the rider (my wife) would have to adjust during the class. Can anyone speak to their experience?

Interesting. Can you elaborate why you feel that way?

Lousy pedal feel, lousy ERG stabilization.

It might be a great bike for Zwift – I don’t know, because I only use TrainerRoad. The stability and heft of the bike is phenomenal.

USWE has a members only sale (member meaning just create an account on their website) with some big discounts

dang that’s the lowest ive seen.

This is troubling. I have been happy with the performance of Shimano Ultegra Di2 on my road bike, but I’ve been thinking about moving to Sram because the hoods are a much better fit for me. Could never justify the cost but these prices are enticing

SRAM calls to you… it calls… collect. Will you answer?

Those prices can’t be right…even the regular price is absurdly low.
