The abv seems too low.

It’s all a plot by big-dental for them to afford their new bikes

This makes too much sense not to be true.

This thread is never-ending… and I’m 100% okay with that.

No helmet. One handed :stuck_out_tongue: Zero care. Massive cohunes.

Does anyone else want to tell @Jonathan that they forgive him? I’ve listened to almost the entire AACC backlog this year, and must have heard Jonathan say “forgive me” 1000 times.

I forgive you Jonathan :hugs:

He seems like such a genuinely nice guy. I wonder if that expression is more popular where he grew up. It does sound unusual to my midwest ears, but then again I say “ope” a few hundred times a day.

That’s funny. I always assumed it was a Mid-Western thing.

I guess this could be used the other way as well.

And thank you @Jonathan for translating

At least in USA you guys are consistant with the imperial system…here I the UK we use a right old mish mash mix of the imperial and metric system. For example I always measure my runs in km and mins per km…bike everything in miles!

Yep its a right pain being british.

How far away is that tree? 10 metres
How far away is that town? 10 miles

How tall is that door? 2 metres
How tall are you? 6 ft

You would think we could at least be able to convert between them easily but nah.

Because I watched the Tour De France on Channel 4 (whenever that was - Roger Millar was KoM anyway) I’ve always done my bike rides in KM. + Audaxes are in km (200,300,400 and 600)

I do more than the others on my group rides, but this just leads to confusing attempts at on bike conversion when discussing how far away the cafe is
