Cycling in Fiji

Does anyone have experience with cycling in Fiji?

I’m traveling there in a few days and I’m trying to decide whether I should pack a kit and hire a bike locally. So far, the online research I’ve done is not too promising but I’ll be there for 2 weeks and will be in Suva most of the time. TIA

I was there 10 years ago racing the Tour of Fiji. Roads back then were better than expected. We were on 23mm too.

There’s a Fiji Cycling FB group that might be worth checking out for more up to date information.
