Hey guys, so i just recently got back into cycling and i want to step up my game this winter by following a structured plan for the first time. I have taken a look at the training plans on trainerroad and i think the Base Phase / Mid Volume II might be a good fit for my goals.
The thing is though i also don’t want to give up on my gym routine 3x per week upper body only. I can’t see myself giving up all the upper body strength because it’s nice to have for my overall wellbeing.
(Can’t seem to handle any lower body training in the gym and riding my bike at the same bike whatsoever)
Has anyone experience with handling a similar training load or any tips for that matter on how to structure these workout around one anyother?
