Choosing workouts manually from the workout list in the app - Why change a good thing?

I used to easily choose my own workouts from the workout list, putting in my desired duration, type, progression level and then scanning through the options. Now, with the AI update on the app there is no way to do that. (I see that on the web one can get more detailed and have more choices, but still not the same ability to scan the library.) I feel like the new TR AI has taken away something that was basic, user friendly and gave the user some sort of control. Wouldn’t it be a simple thing to have left that part of the app intact? Are there any changes ahead to allow us to do that still? Browsing the library of workouts to choose a workout was so easy before. Now it feels overly controlled and difficult, with far more added steps. Perhaps I am missing something?

Hey @jazzrazz

I’m sorry for any confusion around the new changes, we are currently working with the design team to make changes to this flow to make it easier to find workouts.. We released a big update recently, and as part of that, some aspects of the app have moved around.

You still have the ability view our entire workouts list. To do this, head to the Workouts tab and select “List” at the top right. You can search our full workouts library, or filter things as you normally would by zone, workout level, duration, etc.

You can also filter to find your Favorite workouts here.

I’ll also link an article on this for easy reference in case it helps:

If you’re interested in reading up on all of the new updates, I’ll also drop an article that highlights the changes:

Let me know if that makes sense, and if you have any other questions or need other assistance.

Thank you for the speedy reply. I have been following the forum on all the updates. You give the example of how to find the list and filters on the web, but the mystery to me was how to get those filters on the app. I now just noticed the small filter image in the upper right corner! I had not noticed that before. For those struggling with this as well, tapping that little filter image is the key. My bad.
