I only began listening to the podcast last August and, in the past 8 months, I have worked my way backwards listening to each episode and have made it back to June 2019. Hearing Chad on those old episodes now makes me melancholy and I get distracted thinking about this situation. I think I’ll stop with the old episodes now but continue with the new ones. I’ll miss Chad’s deep dives, though.
Also, this was 100% a terrible way to announce Chad’s departure.

That is jumping to some huge conclusions and none of them favorable. Lets remember that for over a year Chad has been working and living in the PNW far away from Reno. That is unflatteringly wild speculation to say the least and is in bad taste.
I will leave you with the thought that I am about to ride indoors in my very unwashed bibs that is lacking in any speculation at all but is in worse taste!!!

It’s clear we’re not going to know exactly what happened. Putting out more hypotheticals after one of the parties asked for it to end is odd, even if it’s not your boss or father - which is another odd thing to say

I just re-read Chad’s post aloud using my best Coach Chad impression. It took me less than 5 minutes. When was the last time Coach Chad answered a podcast with such brevity?

Should be interesting to see if the business looks to replace Chad and what that looks like in terms of role and profile.
I find the debate as to the detail disrespectful to the parties involved as there is no informed view or comment.
Might be worth closing the thread as it serves no value to the community
