Cassette for Road and MTB trainer

Hi,

So i have a bike with SRAM Force AXS 12speed (2x) and a mountainbike that is SRAM Eagle 12speed (1x).
My hope is that i can find a casette for the Trainer Kickr Core that would work for both my MTB and my Roadbike.

Is this possible? One bike is running flat top chain and the other Eagle chain.

I read somewhere that a Rotor cassette may work? Or would it work straight of the bat with a Rival AXS cassette for the MTB?

Not possible AFAIK. SRAM chose to make the AXS Road chain with a different chain roller diameter. As such, it is not a match to the traditional chain roller size on the Eagle (and every other chain made for a bike in the last 50+ years).

So, you can’t really mix the road AXS with anything else.
