Sorry to keep replying here but one other thought I had today about all of this, and am genuinely curious about, does consuming cannabis not cause everyone else to get munchies?
My nutrition while consuming cannabis during my binges throughout the year is absolutely abysmal. I want to consume every sweet thing in the world around me all day long. In general sweets don’t even interest me. But when I am high everything tastes so good it’s all I want. I even read an article many years back that suggested people who consume a lot of cannabis reduce their sensations while not high for these types of things which is exactly what I’ve experienced.
I also notice a substantially slower digestion rate as well as a bunch of other impacts with general nutrition. CBD is also supposed to contribute to some of this so I am curious if others feel these effects.
Sounds like we love it equally but that you have a hard time with dosing and timing. I get it, when I go off the rails I usually go all in. But, personally it’s the law of diminishing returns for me. If I find that I need it during the day, for example, it usually means something else is going on that I should address first. Zero judgement from me, to be clear, it sounds like enjoying it occasionally works best for you.
I only use when riding when trying to facilitate a recovery ride, I love it for that purpose. But a serious ride when I need my wits, it’s not enjoyable for me. I have a severe sweet tooth by default, cannabis just elevates that. I call it the 10pm shit show. I know that reaching for a treat that late doesn’t serve me well so I try to avoid it, I just keep most of it out of the house, but honestly it’s a habit I struggle with (sugar intake in general) so it goes beyond cannabis intake for me. Keeping seltzer water on hand is helpful. I’ll also drink herbal teas instead of the sweet treat.
A lot of what we’re looking for is that reward for being an adult in our society, at least that’s what it is for me. When you can find healthy alternatives for those rewards centers, it’s a win.
I use cannabis for medical purposes. This is a medicine for sick people.
It helps reduce pain, increase appetite, help fight bad moods and depression.
However, many people use it to feel euphoric, and frequent use of this product can be
harmful to health.
I also take medication because I travel often, and not all countries legalize cannabis. The whole range and just an interesting portal
you can view here https://https//www.canadapharmacy.com/
.
Cannabis is not a medicine for sick people, it’s a plant which has many uses, one of which happens to be as a medicine for sick people. I’m not sure how much pot someone would have to smoke to have it be harmful to their health (and maybe you can clarify exactly how it’s harmful to health aside from the fact that smoking ANYTHING is generally not a good thing), maybe I’m not smoking enough because I’m still making progress with my fitness
Cannabis is rather prospective stuff as it has a great potential of use in medicine and pharmacology. For now, it’s completely legalized in 20 states for applying for medical purposes while in 7 states like Oregon, Washington, Alaska, Colorado, California, Massachusetts, and Nevada, and that’s 20 % of the population of the USA, it’s legalized for recreational purposes usage.
Anyone tried CBD with Melatonin? I slept well but only about 6hours bc woke up very early. Felt pretty tired during the moor less rning until about mid day
I heard melotonin has a rebound effect which happens if you take too much. You fall asleep and then wake up in the middle of the night and have trouble falling asleep again.
In the UK, accessing cannabis involves obtaining a prescription. I’ve got a subscription at a private medical cannabis clinic called Releaf, which costs about £200. It’s a regulated process here.
I’m curious about the situation in the USA - how do prices and accessibility compare in different states?
Spent a week in Vegas. Somehow I tore a tendon in my elbow, and was flavoring it at a store (Belagio) and the cashier sales droid went on a sales pitch for the brand of CBD gummies he uses. ‘These are THE BEST I’ve ever used, period! I’ve used so many brands, and these just put them to shame!.’ He wrote the brand down, and we left. I have tried gummies post killer ride, and was like ‘meh’. The sales droid said I was ‘doing it wrong’, which was surprising. How can you do gummies wrong?
But do they ‘work’, or is it placebo effect, because this tendon is really painful at times. The physical therapy person also swears by kinesiology tape, which I think is mostly useless, but, like gummies, some/many swear by those therapy tools.
Anyone had good results with either gummies and/or kinesiology tape? At times this is unbearable…
I’ve been looking into how CBD can impact recovery, especially when compared to other substances like alcohol. I’ve read these goodrays cbd reviews that show a lot of people using CBD for its potential benefits, and it got me thinking it might be worth considering for athletes. It’s interesting to see how CBD is being recognized more as a wellness product rather than just something tied to cannabis stigma.
