I’m a consistent trainer road user. I’ve recently completed lactate threshold and vo2 max testing in a lab. Has anyone found a way to incorporate this data into their training plan?
The simple thing you can do is use the lactate threshold to manually update your FTP.
It would be interesting ti compare AI FTP with what you measured.
I suspect if you have 5 different people look at the lactate data you’ll get 5 different FTP estimates from them.

Short answer, no not really.
You’ll be better off doing some long form FTP tests to dial in your FTP and getting to feel where threshold is.

I’ve had this kind of testing done in the past – personally, I wasn’t able to do much with the data (besides be able to look at it and think, “neat” ), but the lactate threshold info could be handy to compare to your FTP assessments you’ve done in the past/will do in the future, as @Mikeferguson1980 mentioned.
