I’ve seen similar behavior if a data sync is still happening, which would be indicated near the top right of the window, but have not personally seen this behavior otherwise.
Regardless, we addressed some things with calendar grid view in the latest beta, and this may have been resolved with one of those changes. You can check it out here, or it will likely release to production early next week.
